An example of the Denver Art Museum's verbal description tour

After this episode had been produced, we received a note from Danielle Schulz, Adult and Access Programs Coordinator at the museum, with a sample of one of their verbal description tours. Below is her note along with links to the audio:

As promised, I wanted to pass along a link and some files related to our verbal description tour for the Stampede: Animals in Art special exhibition. You can find a web app version of the tour at: denverartmuseum.org/app

I’ve attached an example tour stop—the Colima Dog from the Adorned section of the tour which is separated into four different sections, with the view that people can pick and choose what information they want to hear, or can simply skip forward if they are not interested in listing more to this tour stop. Our goal for this was to provide a choice-based experience. Obviously, there are still many kinks that we need to work out, but I would welcome your feedback! Feedback can be sent to access@DenverArtMuseum.org
