The Show
Eyes On Success is a weekly podcast and radio program empowering the visually impaired with expert advice, personal stories, and the latest in technology and accessibility. It has been airing since January 2011 and is available through radio reading services, internet streaming, and as a podcast. Each episode features success stories, either about visually impaired people's accomplishments or adaptive aids that enable independence. The Hosts
Peter and Nancy Torpey both have PhD's in Physics and retired from Xerox Corporation after over 25 years in corporate research. Peter is blind, while Nancy is sighted, and they've been learning and growing together for years. They have two adult children and 2 young grandsons. Beyond their passion for accessibility, they enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time with their family. Here are photos of them in their home studio recording Eyes On Success, in front of a wall of greenery, and in Rocky Mountain National Park. Thanks to our friend Chris Davell (Instagram | @cdavell) for taking the photos.
